Is It Possible To Reverse Arthritis?

Although arthritis medically cannot be cured, it is scientifically proven that the condition can be slowed down and possibly be improved. Yet with recent medical studies, especially with AIC Therapy, it has shown in many cases of arthritis of calcification between the joints, it can possibly be reversed.

On this page we will look at 3 possibly ways of easing Arthritis and in some cases even reversing it...

  1. AIC Therapy
  2. Hydrogen Therapy
  3. Health Supplements.

AIC Therapy

Calcification between the joints has been a major cause of pain and discomfort for people with Arthritis. Up to recently many common calcium supplement's would do very little to help, or make the pain worse. Now from 10 years of medical research in an active form of calcium ion from Pronuvia. It has been shown that this active calcium ion Ca2+ called AIC Therapy can dissolve calcification between the joints. If you would like to learn more please go to our AIC Therapy Page.

AIC Therapy does not help with bone on bone arthritis, yet it has shown to help decalcify the calcification between the joints and to make the  T-Score bone density stronger.

Possibly combined with the supplement below on this page, this may help rebuild the collagen between the joints, as you can see one supplement on it's own does not do everything.

Hydrogen Therapy

Their are over 1500 medical scientific studies, that shows that hydrogen act as a very active selective antioxidant. For many people with arthritis hydrogen therapy , can help reduce some pain levels as H2 reduces oxidative stress. Hydrogen Therapy in this case can only possibly help a small amount, again combined with other modalities on this page all comes together giving a overall better result. If you would like to find out more, please go to our hydrogen page.

Health Supplements

Below is range of some health supplements that have shown scientifically that they can help reduce joint pain...

Glucosamine & Chondroitin

Glucosamine  and Chondroitin have shown to help rebuild damaged cartilage, the problem is standard Glucosamine Sulphate supplements are made from shell fish, which I tend to avoid as shell fish are a cleaner of the oceans and our oceans are sadly not so clean, plus many people are intolerant to shell fish, so if you are going to get a Glucosamine  and Chondroitin supplement I recommend looking for one that is shell fish free.

Vitamin D3

Vitamin D3 – Helps regulate and control the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus by aiding in their absorption from the small intestine, and by directly affecting the rate at which these minerals form and maintain bone and teeth.

Rheumatoid arthritis tends to be worse during the winter months when people typically receive less sunlight, required for the creation of vitamin D in the skin. Vitamin D3 has been found to help people with rheumatoid arthritis because it works specifically with both the immune and skeletal systems.

A study of 1,248 elderly adults published in August 2009 in The Journal of Clinical Rheumatology found that blood levels of vitamin D related to the progression of the disease. Vitamin D levels were associated with less advanced osteoarthritis of the knee and also with higher bone mineral density.

Fish Oils High In DHA

Research shows that omega-3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties and are beneficial to bone health

Which you can get from plant based oils such as flax/hemp seeds or good quality fish oils

Boswellia & Curcumin

Boswellia is also known as Indian frankincense. Boswellia has been used for centuries in Asian and Africa, to help ease inflammatory illnesses.  Like Boswellia, Curcumin has been use in India to help ease inflammatory illnesses for centuries..

I suggest adding  the recommend dose of  liquid Boron to your water, as a medical studied concluded that in countries where Boron was higher in the soil and food the rate of arthritis  was less. To read the paper please click here.

A joint study by Harvard Medical School and Tufts Medical Centre, Boston, followed a group of 30  patients for 48 weeks. Half were given a placebo and the other half collagen supplements. MRI scans showed that the collagen patients had ‘significant re-growth of damaged cartilage’ after a year

Collagen could also help with joint pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis. RA is an autoimmune condition where the immune system attacks the joints. Some scientists think that low-dose collagen supplements can encourage the immune system to become more tolerant of its own collagen, suppressing the inflammatory response.

Phiten Tape

The nice thing we have found with Phiten Titanium tapes is that every-time we have put the tape onto clients sore joints, the clients have always said, it gives them instant pain relief. The downside is the tape normally stays on for about 3 to 4 days and then the underline pain comes back , sometimes a little less or the same as before.

What we have found is that when people have been in  pain for a long time, that instant pain relief is more than welcome, and by applying the other tips here to help deal with deeper issues of joint pain it works well. For some people with less chronic joint pain this alone makes a huge difference. Out of all the different types of tape from Phiten we have found the blue one is the best because it is more waterproof and stays on for a lot longer time than the other ones.

Magnesium Baths

Epsom salts are rich in magnesium and Epsom salt baths are a old fashioned remedy for easing joint pain.  You can add  1 cup of Epsom salts to a hot bath, and soak for at least 20 minutes once or twice a week.

If your buying Epsom Salt, the best buy is to  get it in bulk and do not go for the fancy packets, the key ingredient is the Epsom salt.

These are 3 key strategies that can possibly help ease arthritis, if you would like to learn more about the foundations to overall health please check out our blog.
